Soooo.... as I promised... this post is for Laura, Rebecka and my other "international friends" , in english.
If you find any mistakes in spelling or grammar, you can keep them :) I have my bloody A-level in english so leave me alone^^
I wanna write some more about today as it was more or less eventfully.
After some shopping I spontaneously met another new german au pair, Viola.
We went to Monty Bojangle for a hot chocolate and I really LOVE that cafe!!!
I brought my own rice milk with me, as they only have cowmilk or soymilk and so I got a big hot-rice-chocolate "for free" :) with delicious truffels besides!! I can only recommend this cafe, it is so sweet and the hot chocolate is like heaven on earth!
After that we went to the secret garden, the castle grounds , just sitting in the sun, on a bench and talking. I have to say, I really miss speaking german. I dare saying my english is not the worst, but I realised how exhausting it can be to hear and talk only english the whole day through! It was relieving to speak some german again, although I skype frequently with my family, boyfriend and friends. It feels a bit like Home.
And Viola is a very nice girl. She is in England since monday, and we talked about everything.
It is also a difference to speak to your family or to speak to another new au pair, who understands your feelings, sharing things about our hostfamilies and kids and England at all.
I am very glad to have so many girls to speak to. I hope it will make this almost-one-year easier for me :)
thank you all! ;**
Sound like a good day! I love the secrent garden! :D
